The photo's tinted, so you can't see how strong the reds and the golds play off of the black, but it's a damned fine picture. I won best steampunk costume in my class at ConFusion 2009 this weekend along with the other crew members of the S.M.S. Zepherus. I'd write a credits list for this costume, but it's lengthy- so for those of you who spurred me on or loaned me patterns or advice through this batshit project, thanks!
