Nouvelle France Hunter by Forfaxia Nouvelle France Hunter by Forfaxia
Aaron and I, being utter dorks for Michigan history (particularly the history of Detroit, of which Aaron is a proud native), fancy costumes, and Francophiles, have decided to create 18th century monster hunter characters (seeing as the French took werewolves with them every damn place they colonized). These folks would travel around Nouvelle-France exterminating and banishing vampires, loup-garous, hobgoblins (and other lesser imps), devil cats, wendigos, ghosts, and even the occasional lake serpent.

This particular character... haven't got a name or much of a story on her, yet.

Her corset front is based off of a 17th century model I saw that was actually made out of metal. The coat is a combo of a curacao and greatcoat. I may have been watching Brotherhood of the Wolf...

A fantastic design.

When are you available to discuss/work on the costume ideas I mentioned.
